I started to sponsor children through Konpayon when I saw how important the opportunity to be educated was to the students. The long walks to and from school every day and early morning/late night studying was very inspiring. I want these children to know that no matter what is going on in their country, they have the right to learn and that we will support them.

We have been blessed to sponsor two children through Konpayon since 2014. It has been a blessing to communicate with them and see them grow up, especially with the solid education that OFCB provides. Because of the work of EWO and OFCB, our relatively small contributions have helped make tremendous progress in the lives of these children, their families and Haiti. We add a new child sponsorship with the addition of each new grandchild. Each grandchild brings new blessings to our family and our lives. Those blessings create an opportunity to reflect outside of ourselves and on the needs in our world - Haiti specifically.
