Pierre received the care he needed and returned home healthy and hopeful.
Access to care restored Pierre’s health and future.

He returned to school and completed the 13th grade at age 73.

The clinic delivered a healthy baby girl and saved Venise’s life.
Today that child is a sponsored student in the Bayonnais school.

Without financial support, Olguens could not have continued his education after high school.

Konpayon exists to walk alongside Haitian leaders, students, and families in Bayonnais through long-term, trust-based relationships that help unlock the potential already present in the community.
Your support helps strengthen education, healthcare, agriculture, and community initiatives in Bayonnais. Konpayon prioritizes responsible stewardship and long-term impact, and we share financial reports and annual updates on our Impact page.
Transparency is central to our work. We share financial reports, maintain board oversight, and work through trusted local partnerships in Bayonnais. Many partners choose to give monthly as a way to provide consistent, reliable support for the community.
A donation of $40/monthly covers all costs associated with sponsoring a student. This includes providing the student with one uniform, materials for school, one hot meal daily, and access to the medical clinic.
Sponsors are paired with a student and their family and provide monthly support that helps remove barriers to education. Sponsors receive updates and can write letters, building a meaningful relationship over time. Sponsorship helps support education, school resources, encouragement, and long-term opportunity for students and their families.
You can sponsor your student from preschool all the way through 13th grade with the Konpayon sponsorship program. If you want, you can personally continue financial support during their time at University by working directly with the student.
We have dreams of building out advanced education options (both for university and trade students), but we have come to accept that its not something we can do in the near future. Our first goal is reaching Actionnel's hope for 1,000 students sponsored. Once that is accomplished, a second goal would be to find sponsors for all of the students at the ICB school in Bayonnais. Once education is supported for all through high school, we can begin looking into education after 13th grade. The Career Breakfast is a first step to educate students on what could be next.
Our tax returns are posted on our website on the Impact page: Konpayon.org/impact
Konpayon was formed through the merger of EWO Haiti and Friends Empowering Haiti. Both organizations had been serving the same community in Bayonnais for years, and the merger allows the work to continue with greater clarity, unity, and long-term sustainability. The relationships, partnerships, and programs continue as before. The merger allows us to operate more efficiently, strengthen infrastructure, and serve the community more effectively.
We host trips and visits when it is safe and appropriate. You can learn about upcoming opportunities on the Events page or by connecting with us on the Contact page.
Churches can partner through prayer, financial support, trips, and long-term relationship with the Bayonnais community. Visit the Partners or Get Involved pages to learn more.
There are many ways to engage, including volunteering, church partnerships, attending events, and helping share the mission.
